SAP VC
ERPtips Variant Configuration class will teach you all the basics of modeling a product in SAP. It covers setting up characteristics to describe the configurable options, master data settings in the material master, super bills of material, and super task lists. An often confusing concept, configuration profiles, will be extensively explained and modeled. Students will get lots of practice with various dependency types and learn basic syntax to write and apply the dependencies. Once all this is set up in a working model, the students will learn how to use variant pricing and material variants to further simplify the process for the users of the configurable products. In the final sections of the course, we will cover planning components for variable materials and move on to report against various objects created in the variant configuration process.
