SAP Technology Overview

Key differentiations need to be addressed when discussing SAP technology. SAP technology can be described under four key topic areas:
  • NetWeaver
  • Basis and Security
  • Development (ABAP + JAVA)
  • Exchange Infrastructure (XI)

              

Although Basis and Security and XI are technically part of NetWeaver, we describe them on our website as separate topics because many SAP clients will continue to break this into their own unique areas often in line with job roles.
